UCQ operates on a shared leadership model. This means that all faculty and staff have the ability to support and implement the initiatives that fall within their purview. Success depends on individual understanding of the value one brings to the endeavor and personal accountability for their part in it.
The operational plan will be built with an overview of effective and efficient use of resources. Comprehensive, reasonable, attainable goals will be established which will require collaboration between departments, whether academic or administrative, to mitigate duplication of efforts towards achievement of common goals.
Specific initiatives will be assigned to a particular department or responsible staff member, and financial plans, milestones, measurements, and accountabilities will be put in place to ensure timely completion of each goal. The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) will undertake regular review of the progress towards completion of each initiative and report to the UCQ community on a bi-annual basis.
